Welcome to the official Haunted Athens Ohio Web Site. You'll find pictures and urban legends here featuring some of the most haunted locations in the Athens Ohio area. These locations are considered to be some of the most haunted places not just in Athens but in the world. I'v lived in the Athens area for a good part of my life just off Peach Ridge where Simms Cemetery is located. Which is said to be one of the cemeteries that makes up the Athens cemetery pentagram.. I'm very familiar with these locations and have been to each of them many times over the years. There's lots of stories on the Internet about the locations that I've visited and featured here but very few deliver the detailed content that you'll find at this site. What I'm hoping to do with the site is not just give a little bio for as many haunted locations as I can, but focus on a few well known and talked about places in the area that I've found to be the most interesting. Recently I took a series of pictures at different alleged haunted locations that I wanted to focus on and share with you. All the pictures featured were taken by myself with the help of a few friends. I'm going to begin with Simms Cemetery and then take you on a journey to The Ridges, The Ridges Cemetery, Wilson Hall at Ohio University, and finally Mt. Nebo. I'll be updating the site with new content often so be sure to check back frequently for updates. I hope you enjoy. |
